quad protest

I was a freshman when this had happened. When the immigration law was happening (which i still dont remember what it was, i think it had to deal with hispanic immigrants being deported) many students did a sit-in in the quad stage. there were many protesters and i believe the entire adminstration had to deal with it. the entire lunch they were staying there and if you were there you were suspended and couldnt leave the sit-in.

Then lunch ended, the counselors and principal had told everyone they had to go straight to their classes. but the protesters decided to walk out of the school. (most of them actually jumped the fences (lol))

But the pathetic part of the protest is that the protesters actually didnt do much. they just sat there and did nothing. i also forgot to mention they ditched their fourth period class just to do a sit-in. they shouldve done something than just sit down to make it news-worthy, but overall it was interesting.
